small words. Big Impact.
It began with a simple chalkboard placed in the back of the restaurant.
On it, we wrote just four words: "I love you because..." We invite our guests to complete the sentence. What happens next was something beautiful.
People pause. They reflect. They smile.
Some laugh. Some become emotional. Some stand quietly for several minutes before writing. One by one, the chalkboard fills with heartfelt messages celebrating parents, children, partners, friends, strangers, pets, nature, and even themselves. Something remarkable happens in the process. A simple invitation encouraged people to slow down, focus on love, and express gratitude. Conversations begin. Strangers connected. The atmosphere changes. It reminds us that sometimes love simply needs a place to be expressed.
Today, we are expanding this simple idea beyond the walls of our restaurant.
We invite people from every country, every culture, and every generation to complete the same sentence:
I love you because...
Your message can be a few words or a few sentences. It can be written for someone you know, someone you miss, your family, your community, yourself, or for the world.
Every message shared begins with one person's experience, but it doesn't end there.
When someone writes, "I love you because you are special," those words become more than a personal thought—they become something everyone who reads them can feel. A simple sentence has the power to remind us of our own relationships, awaken cherished memories, and inspire us to express love more freely in our own lives.
The beauty of "I Love You Because..." is that it creates two experiences at once. The writer pauses to reflect on someone they love, while countless others are touched by those same heartfelt words. In this way, a single message becomes a shared experience, connecting strangers through one of our most universal emotions.
Love grows when it is expressed, and its impact reaches far beyond the person who first put the words on the page.
